The VETERANS ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (VETRONIX) was organized in 1974 to manufacture tactical radios for the Arm Forces of the Philippines under the AFP-Self Reliant Defense Posture Program.
VETRONIX has also ventured into the commercial market by installing the first Cellular System for PILTEL under the guidance of AT&T. Since then it had contracted the system installation of the Public Calling Office for the Municipal Telephone Project Office under CANAC and Philips TRT. In 1991, it contracted the installation of the cellular system for Globe Telecom under the NOKIA and Broadcast Communication Limited.
Due to some reasons beyond control of the employees, VETRONIX has decided to suspend its operations and retired all its employees in September 1998.
In order to expand the operation of MSI and attain its objective, it hired the retired personnel composed of technical personnel involved and trained in the manufacturing, research and development and operation.
While MSI started to operate in 1997, it also carries the experience and the expertise of VETRONIX considering that those hired personnel have stayed with that company for more than twenty (20) years.
Recently MSI Installation Teams is working in the nationwide Installation, expansion and upgrade of the GSM Network of GLOBE Telecom and SMART Communication.

MSI is a private firm organized in 1997 in accordance with the provision of Act No. 3883 under Republic Act No. 863 in compliance with the rules and regulation prescribe by the Department of Trade and Industry under the registration number P97-XIII No. 01462.
MSI were duly approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission under SEC Registration Number H200100182 and in accordance with corporate code of the Philippines RA. 68 to engage in multipurpose Electronics, Telecommunications and Electro-venture business here and abroad.
MSI is authorized by the National Telecommunications Commission to engage in Manufacturing, Assembly, Acquisition, Selling, Distribution, Purchase, Install, Service and Maintenance of communication equipment, radio transmitters and transceivers, parts and accessories (NTC No. ROX-DOO1-98 Permit No. 9160-0031 and NTC 99-REDP-CAG-01303) Manufacturers Permit No. ROX-M001-2000.
MSI is 100 percent Filipino owned corporation.
Achievement
In early 2000, we succeed the design and production of the Telephone Line Extender for 30 - 120 km. range type approved by The National Telecommunications Commission. The Lx3 & SL9000 telephone line extender were among the successfully product which sold more than 20,000 units for Commercial, Personal and military market.
2001 MSI started the local assembly of Broadcast Transmitter for TV and FM using European RF boards and pallets.
2002 MSI Completed about 150 installed cell sites for Globe Telecom under KEPPEL Communication.
2003 Succeed the local development or RF power modules for DVB-T/H transmission.
2004 MSI Completed around 300 installed cell sites and Microwave Link for Smart Communication.
2004 MSI Succeed the development of a complete high power DVB-T/H transmitter.
2004 MSI Succeed the design and started producing DVB-S, DVB-T and DVB-C Set Top Boxes through the cooperation of a China based embedded software company.
2005 MSI Started producing DVB-T broadcast transmission products.
2006 MSI established and expand its operation to China, USA, Korea and establish cooperation with known International Distributors.
