Position Summary:
The Sales Director is responsible for identifying, developing and managing moderately complex new and ongoing business opportunities for Digital TV Broadcast and Media Outfit in the assigned region. This shall include sales management of customers with various levels of revenue opportunities. This person is responsible for achieving an annual sales quota. The position is based in the Philippines and the candidate for the position must have authorization to work in the country.
Critical Responsibilities:
· Meet and exceed annual sales revenue quotas as assigned.
· Act as primary contact for assigned customers. Establish frequent interaction with the respective customer base via ongoing customer visits, written and verbal communication.
· Identify and qualify new customers and new opportunities on an ongoing basis.
· Develop and implement sales-driven actions, including a Sales and Revenue Plan, to meet or exceed the sales targets including current and future revenue goals.
· Provide clear, timely and comprehensive sales proposals and service and product updates to existing and potential customers. Maintain ongoing knowledge of Digital-ST product and services and new product offerings
· Provide detailed tracking and status information for each sales opportunity and other management reports.
· Identify and coordinate any technical assistance with appropriate engineering departments to facilitate services and maintain ongoing revenues.
Important Responsibilities:
· Retain comprehensive knowledge of product and sales services applicable to assigned customer base and prospective customers.
· Provide reports to Digital-ST management on status of current activities and advise on customer-related issues, regional priorities, sales activities and opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
· Experience in broadcast communications and/or broadcast solutions sales / broadcast content delivery services for media organizations.
· Track record of sales and business development within broadcast and media content markets.
· Excellent social capital in the Philippines or across Asia.
· Team player, able to work seamlessly across borders and time zones
· Specific experience in selling high-value, high-revenue, complex sales to a wide range of customers from technical representatives to management level.
· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in multiple disciplines.
· Proven organizational skills and outstanding interpersonal and networking skills.
· Excellent written and verbal skills in English required; knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
· Demonstrated skill in making effective presentations.
· Willingness and ability to travel frequently.

Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
· Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
· Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
· Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
· Able to travel throughout sales territory.
Qualifications:
· Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in analogue and digital broadcast, communication, electronics software and hardware sales and knowledge of technology.
· Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
· Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
· Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for extensive travel.
· 3-5+ years relevant experience in communication equipment vendor sales
· Experience and familiarity of Digital-ST products and line of business a plus
· B.S. in Electronics, Communication and Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred
